Corvest Debuts New Look, Realtime Inventory, Online Ordering
April 02, 2008
Corvest, the Largo, Florida-based owner of Toppers, Advalite and It's All Greek to Me product lines, launched completely revamped, integrated sites this month.
Relying on the flexibility and power of the storeBlox platform, eBlox integrated three discrete product lines into a cohesive web presence while maintaining the unique brand identity of each product line. With the addition of a top-level Corvest corporate website, customers can shop easily across all brands and take advantage of complementary product selections.
"Back when eBlox first entered the promotional products marketplace nine years ago, we integrated thirteen different product lines into a single solution for Norwood," said eBlox CEO Brent Buford. "So, we're pretty familiar with the issues in tying all these disparate brands together."
"Luckily, we've got a platform and a team that can handle very complex requirements. In this case, individual brands still needed to retain their own domains and branding, but shoppers needed to be able to buy from all brands and maintain their shopping carts and saved items across all the domains," said Buford. "I can't think of another platform that could handle all these requirements and go from concept to launch in roughly 60 days. We were able to do that with storeBlox."
Corvest also introduced real-time inventory and distributor and consumer ordering with the new sites. Consumer orders are passed automatically to the distributor the end user chooses to place the order with, and users can check inventory on all products and configurations prior to placing orders.
eBlox also developed a host of new, exciting features for Corvest, including a dynamic "Saved Items" feature that stores products for use in flyers, purchases or emails. The Saved Items container is instantly accessible from the bottom of the screen whenever browsing a Corvest site, and shares items across all brands. Dynamic HTML and Javascript enable instantaneous minimizing and maximizing of Saved Items.
Corvest leveraged existing storeBlox features in new ways as well, highlighting the strength and flexibility of the industry's most advanced e-commerce platform. A powerful solutions-based navigation allows shoppers to find products related to their specific need instantly. storeBlox Custom Filters allowed for easy setup and application of solutions.
"I can't say enough about this team's ability to deliver a solution quickly and effectively," said Mark Holland, Corvest VP of Marketing. "eBlox architected and built a comprehensive solution in record time. Their ability to understand our needs and translate them into a beautiful, easy-to-use web platform is unrivaled, and our traffic numbers have grown impressively as a result."
Corvest plans additional improvements and deeper web ordering integration throughout 2008.
